Minutes

September 27, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. at the Columbus Bridge Center in Columbus, Ohio by Cheryl Schneider, President.

Members Present: Larry Jones, Judy Auer, John Fleeman, Eileen Erwin, Mabel Sturdivant, Cheryl Schneider, Judy Williamson.

Members Absent: Fred Gottlieb, Skip Williams, Doug Milsap, and Derrick Stover.

President Report

Board Meeting of Distrct held at Dayton was discussed.

Dealing Machine was a major crisis on Friday.

Regional was up 37 tables probably the result of having Gold Rush Pairs. There is nor problem with the dates of July 30,2012 thru August 5, 2012. We do need more players for the GNT in January, 2012.

New Life Members Honey Barnes, Kathy Robertston and John Fleeman.

Minutes

Mabel distributed a draft of the minutes from the August 23, 2011 meeting. Larry moved and Judy second that the minuses be accepted. The minutes were unanimously approved.

Treasurer’s Report

Judy distributed copies of the treasury report and was approved as submitted. Two CD’s coming due and will set up different due dates. The van log for Dayton didn’t balance out. It is not breaking even and may not be feaseable in the future.

John and Larry will make sure everything is set up Thursday evening.

Telephone Books

Judy stated that updates will be made as information is received.

Old Business

Lease at Haimerl John will follow up to obtain keys.

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be November 15, 2011 at 5:30 at the Columbus Bridge Center.

Motion to Adjourn

Mabel moved to adjourn and Judy W. seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 6:38 pm.
